VERO BEACH, Fla., July 12, 2016 – Piper Aircraft will display the first production M600 at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016 which is scheduled to take place July 25-31. Piper Aircraft received type certification of the M600 in June of this year.

Piper is also planning a press conference on the initial day of the Experimental Aircraft Association’s AirVenture to update the aviation media on recent activities at Piper Aircraft, including the recent certification of the M600 and upcoming delivery schedule. The press conference will also include discussion of the company’s trainer line and continued product improvements.
On display at the Piper static exhibit in the Main Aircraft Display area 140-145, 156-161 will be the M600 aircraft and mockup, the single-engine turboprop M500, the pressurized single-engine piston-powered M350, and the unpressurized single-engine Matrix, which comprise the Piper M-Class in its entirety.
Also on display will be the Trainer-Class Seminole and Trainer-Class Piper Archer; both of which remain highly favored with flight schools around the world.

The dual GTC 570s provide a centralized point of access for the majority of all avionics tuning, selection and data inputs. The M600 has enhanced safety features including Emergency Descent Mode, Electronic Stability Protection, Level Mode and Underspeed / Overspeed Protection.
The aesthetics, ergonomics and technologies of the new Piper M600 aircraft redefine comfort and convenience. The M600 interior features newly styled seats which have been optimized for comfort, as well as enhanced side panels with improved passenger interface. Additionally three new color palettes have thoughtfully been created with the customer in mind. A comprehensive survey process helped identify the features and attributes that would be most appreciated by both pilots and customers including USB charging ports, executive folding tables, and folding seats.
The 2016 M600 is listed at a competitive price of $2.853 million.
About the Piper Meridian M500
The Piper Meridian M500 features the latest in Garmin G1000 avionics, enhanced safety features, and a number of other significant product improvements. The six-place M500 is powered by a Pratt & Whitney PT6A-42A 500shp engine, sports a 260 KTAS / 482 km/h max cruise speed and has a range of 1,000 nm / 1,852 km. Equipped with an improved Garmin G1000 avionics suite featuring the most advanced safety features available in any single engine turboprop aircraft, the 2016 M500 is listed at a competitive price of $1.99 million.
About the Piper M350
The Piper M350 comfortably seats six with club seating. It is powered by a Lycoming TIO-540-AE2A 350 horsepower engine, sports a 213 KTAS / 395 km/h max cruise speed, and has a range of 1,343 nm / 2,487 km. The aircraft comes standard with an improved Garmin G1000 avionics suite, with the latest safety features, including a hypoxia recognition feature with an emergency descent mode. Additionally, the aircraft has a new digital fuel quantity system from Ametek. The 2016 M350 is listed at a competitive price of $1.15M million.
About the Archer TX
The Archer TX includes: two 10.4″ high resolution XGA (PFD/MFD) displays, an Aspen Standby System (EFD-1000), an Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS), a solid state Air Data Computer (ADC), solid state 3-axis Magnetometer, Dual IFR Enroute/Approach and WAAS Certified GPS systems. Also included is an Electronic Engine Indication System (EIS), Dual Nav/Comm (16 watt) radio, a GTX 33ES Transponder with Extended Squitter, Digital Audio Panel, Traffic Information Systems (TIS) and Terrain and Obstacle Mapping. The Archer TX, equipped with a 180 hp Lycoming engine, offers 128 ktas / 237 km/h cruise speed.
